SAENA supports professional development, organises technical meetings and hosts educational seminars. It arranges visits to research and development divisions in industry and to research centres, runs special initiatives with engineering schools, and keeps its members connected.
SAENA informs engineers about the benefits of SAE membership and encourages new members to join. It works closely with engineering schools to strengthen the link between education and industry, promotes participation in local and international activities, and develops leadership potential within its membership.
