SAE Europe has in June 2026 joined two new EU-funded projects, ‘PULSE’ and ‘WiBiCharge’, strengthening its engagement in Europe’s transition toward electrified mobility. These two initiatives address key technological and societal challenges for seamless charging solutions. The projects focus on advancing wireless bidirectional charging for electric vehicles, improving safety, accessibility and urban integration while enabling more flexible energy use for overnight charging and dynamic fleet operations.
